Food Cornedbeef by homermedici is an amazing collaboration between talented artists! The food is thoughtfully laid out, brilliantly composed against a backdrop that relates to the main concept. "Food, glorious food!" indeed! ( Featured by 3wyl )
It's almost like a western style of plating. It looks good and I know that it tastes good. Either can or home made, corned beef is still corned beef. So I'm gonna cut to the chase here..

Vision: I like how it looks and how it's plated neatly. And how you took the shot kind of like a homeward-bound kind of feel. Makes me want to eat corned beef at the outback. So I'm giving it a full 5 here because really.. It's appealing to me.

Originality: I've seen shots of the same dish over and over again so sorry to say that I've seen something like this already. Same way but the plate is white. But again, I like it how it's plated like this. It brings out that home-y feel to it.

Technique: I gave a full 5 because of your food photography technique on how you took the photo and what you wanted it to look like in the end product. Making simple corned beef look like a gourmet dish.

Impact: It still has that home-y feel and just by looking at this photo, I feel more relaxed because it looks like this photo was taken from somewhere at a nice comfortable area. But by appetite.. I doesn't hit me like "I wanna eat corned beef right now" I just like it how it was taken.

If this critique is offends you then I do apologize. I am quite strict on food photography. I inspect the background elements and anything present in the dish that's presented.

Keep doing what your doing and always present with passion! :)

Great photo, but I can't stop staring at the area that looks like it was clone stamped. :stare:
